Nursing research has proven the link between patient outcomes and nurses who feel empowered: nurses who believe they are powerless are not as effective in patient care delivery. During this one-day seminar, find out what nurses can do to inspire each other, the profession, and have a positive impact on patient care and patient outcomes. Learn how professional development focused on self-esteem, communication, coping skills, interpersonal relationships and developing a sense of purpose in one's work can improve nurses' perceptions of their empowerment in the workplace.

PURPOSE: Address how professional development for nurses can improve nurses' perception of his/her empowerment in the workplace.
